About ICEF

ICEF stands for the International Conference and Expo for Franchise; it is a specialized franchise event which has taken place for the first time on 1-3 June, 2008 in Riyadh. It consisted of an expo, conference and focused workshops.

ICEF is an annual event organized by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented by its SMEs’ division and MARCOM Company. It is one of the activities that Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry is supporting as it is a very important step towards its vision “Riyadh; the Franchise Capital in the Region”.

The Saudi government is supporting this industry heavily as it opens a new horizon for the Saudi youth who represents more than 50% of the population.  ICEF is being sponsored by HRH Prince Salman; the governor of Riyadh in addition to other governmental agencies.

ICEF organizers aim to gather the maximum possible number of franchise concepts from all over the world in Riyadh to meet during a 3 day event with Saudi investors who will benefit from the successful track record of franchisors and work to grow franchise business in Saudi Arabia focusing on concepts that will add value to the community.

A specialized conference will be held during ICEF days. This conference will eventually draw in international and regional speakers, experts, business people, entrepreneurs, government official, lawyers, consultants and franchise media related contacts to present the latest news in this industry and to discuss the findings to come up with a relevant recommendation in order to develop Saudi franchise Industry.
