How can I apply for visa?

- What accommodation is available?
Riyadh is a big city, a lot of accommodation options are available, Hotel, suites, Resorts or Furnished apartments.
The price varies between 80 US$ and 760 US$ based on your choice.

Marcom will be ready and more than happy to help you get any exhibition materials or items you may need (subjected to separate quotation or agreement).
- Can I build my own stand and use my own design?
Yes, of course; as long as you abide by your stand size and partitions in a way not to bother the stand neighboring yours. Please contact us, it is recommended in this case to produce your stand here which is cheaper and more convenient.
- Can I print my marketing materials in Saudi?
Yes, and it is recommended too. Marcom will gladly help you in this (subject to separate quotation or agreement). Please contact us
- How can I ship my materials to Saudi?
We will recommend speed couriers and/or the ones we have corporate or special rates with soon.
- Where can I keep my unused materials?
We will have storage area for the purpose of keeping the Expo stuff. Or you may either keep them in your room or in the Hotel’s luggage compartment (if possible)
- What if I have some tools that need 110 V power outlet?
We will provide you with a 220 - 110 V transformer (you can rent it from us for an extra nominal fee, rental cost as per the transformer’s intensity and capacity).
- Why is the expo held in Riyadh?
Because Riyadh is the capital where all the ministries and other government HQ offices are, in addition to all embassies. it has been witnessing an industrial revolution for the last few years that is being materialized in construction, infrastructure, and services overflow. Riyadh Region is located in the centre of Saudi Arabia, occupying 17% of the Kingdom's area let alone 22.63% of the Kingdom's population is based there. Riyadh is expanding dynamically to accommodate various inhabitants. It is linked to other Regions through a modern international airport. It is a great example of a modern city which keeps improving services constantly while maintaining its cultural mark.
The capital occupies political, economic and cultural value since it was revived by King Abdulaziz Al-Saud – May Allah Have Mercy On Him – in the 15th of January 1902 AD.
- Which currency is used in Saudi and is the exchange process easy?
The Saudi Riyal is the only accepted currency in shops, Taxis…however, you can easily exchange any currency at the Airport or in Exchange shops, or in banks (Banks only exchange US$ and Euros).
- Can we use ATM and credit cards?
Yes, ATM's are available almost everywhere in Saudi Arabia. There will be an ATM in the event premises as well. Major Credit Cards are accepted in Saudi Arabia.
- Can I rent a car? How? What are the conditions? Is it recommended?
Several Car rental companies are available; you only need to have a valid driver’s License with you and your Passport. Yes, it is recommended. You may rent a car with a driver too. We will recommend you a list of Car rental offices where we have good deals.
- Can I stay in Saudi more than the ICEF period?
Basically you can stay for one week in total from the date of your arrival.
Should you need to stay more than one week, kindly mention this when sending a scanned copy of your documents to us for the Visa procedures.
- Will there be a food court/ area?
Yes, there will be a couple of coffee stands alongside food stands in the expo area as we are expecting 7000 to 10 000 visitors to come to ICEF 2009.
- Are there any activities that we can do during nighttime?
Yes, you can go sightseeing around Riyadh, go to many extravaganza shopping malls, or have a coffee on Tahlia Street.
- What are the important sites to be visited in Riyadh?
We have humongous shopping Malls in Riyadh (Al-Faisaliah and Kingdom towers are the two main landmarks of Riyadh). You can also visit the following links for more info.

- Who are the expo visitors?
We are expecting no less than 10,000 visitors for ICEF’08 from both Public and Private sectors, in addition to the Semi-Autonomous governmental Institutions interested in, or directly related to Franchise business. These visitors include Government officials at various levels, private and semi-private companies owners and senior executives, Business Decision Makers of various funding entities (Banks, Private/Semi-Private funding institutions), and all interested people in Franchise business, in addition to people with capitals looking for an appropriate rentable, low-risk investment.
- How ICEF’09 will be covered by media?
A strong PR and Media Campaign is prepared and being executed where it will include: News papers press releases, TV interviews & Press conferences, in addition to a Marketing Campaign (Advertising).
